Virtual Debate for Lambertville City Council Candidates

Dave Ringer encourages voters in the July 7th Democratic Primary to make an informed decision about which two candidates will best serve the citizens of Lambertville.  The League of Women Voters of New Jersey is making this possible by sponsoring a virtual “debate” among the candidates. As a non-partisan organization, they do not endorse or oppose candidates.

The League of Women Voters of New Jersey promotes the informed participation of voters in the electoral process. They are using a Web-based system to pose questions to all the candidates and post the responses with contact information online through an interactive, community specific online Voters' Guide at on or about June 8, 2020.

The format is intended to obtain informative responses with three important questions:

·         What do you consider the most important challenges facing your municipality? How do you intend to address these challenges?

·         What personal and professional experiences have prepared you for this office?

·         What, if any, new proposals for local ordinances and/or resolutions do you think are needed, and why?

After a long career in the building profession, Dave is a newcomer to politics.  Informing residents about his professional experiences as an architect and their application to the current issues that face the City is Dave’s current challenge.  “I am grateful to Carol Harvey and her team at the League for this opportunity for my candidacy to receive widespread attention.  Promoting informed participation in the electoral process is the goal of The League of Women Voters of New Jersey.”

More about Dave and his background may be found on his website,  He also can be contacted through the website.
