Princeton residents are reminded to please use the Mercer County-branded recycling buckets. Other types of receptacles will not be emptied by the County’s contractor. Flattened cardboard outside of the bucket will continue to be collected, but bagged recycling outside the buckets will not be collected. Replacement recycling buckets can be picked up at the Princeton Public Works Yard at 27 North Harrison Street between 8:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Princeton's recycling is handled by the Mercer County Improvement Authority. If your recycling is missed or collection was incomplete, you must report it directly to Mercer County, either reporting online or by calling Mercer County Improvement Authority at 609-278-8086.
