Community conversation via Facebook focusing on mental health and self care skills to practice while coping with the traumatic experience of COVID-19, economic instability, and racial injustice. Practices to maintain mental and physical wellbeing will be covered followed by conversation with facilitators through comments. Free.

Have your friends and family 'meet' you on MCL's facebook page every Wednesday evening at 7:00 pm, to follow along and try out your artistic talents as Julia teaches you how to draw new images each week. Then, we invite you to share your finished artwork with everyone in the comments section! This event is recommended for all ages.

Alice Randall: Author Talk with Question and Answer, Princeton Public Library

In the spirit of Ragtime, Randall's new novel reimagines a vibrant period of Detroit history in the first half of the 20th century when the Black Bottom neighborhood which housed the first wave of the Great Migration and was a mecca of African American culture.
