An alternate classic for the holiday season. A man brings home an adorable creature as a Christmas present for his son, but the shopkeeper’s advice — no midnight snacks, no water, mood lighting only — goes unheeded. The result unleashes a horde of malevolently mischievous creatures who take over his small town on Christmas Eve. This 80s hit was written by Chris Columbus and executive produced by Steven Spielberg.
