"Surviving the Holidays" Gathering, Hunterdon Hospice

Share:

Thursday November 15, 2018
6:30 PM - 8:00 PM

After a loved one dies, the holidays can be a difficult time of year for those who are grieving. The spirit of the season can often be more overwhelming and stressful than exciting and festive. Recognizing this as a natural part of the grieving process, Hunterdon Hospice invites the community a special gathering: "Surviving the Holidays" on Thursday, November 15th from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm.

The Bereavement team of Jennifer Kennedy LCSW, Karin Gruss LCSW, and Janet McCulloch, LCSW, will be joined by Pastor & Hunterdon Hospice Volunteer, Tom Jones. They will speak about the challenges, pain, and guilt associated with loss, and offer creative strategies to help navigate through the holiday season. Guests of the evening will have the opportunity to interact with presenters and other attendees to share their feelings and concerns.

If you are still missing someone special, still feel that empty space in your life, and need some support to survive the holidays, please join us on November 15 at the Hunterdon Regional Community Health Building, 215 Route 31 South, Flemington, NJ (next to Yesterday's Treasures Thrift Shop). There is no cost to attend this event and all are welcome. For more information, or to RSVP, please contact kkelleher@hhsnj.org or 908-788-2573. Walk in guests also welcome.
