Keeping Time: New Jersey Musical Clocks, Morven Museum & Garden

On Wednesday, September 20 at 6:30 p.m., step back in time for Keeping Time: New Jersey Musical Clocks, an evening featuring the popular music of 18th and 19th century New Jersey tall case clocks seen in Morven’s special exhibition Striking Beauty. Join the Practitioners of Musick as they explore the history and design of these musical timepieces accompanied by members of the vocal ensemble Mostly Motets performing the melodies discussed. Tickets are $35 General Admission, $25 for Morven Members and Students. Tickets include a visit to Morven's newest exhibition, Striking Beauty: New Jersey Tall Case Clocks, 1730 - 1830, prior to the program. Light refreshments will be provided.
