10:30 AM

Celebrate May Day with Kristin Hock from New Jersey Audubon as we stroll around Morven's gardens and explore ways to garden for wildlife. Kristin will take us all around Morven's gardens - and even the parking lot and fringe areas - in search of birds and bird families. Kristin will identify the common birds and butterflies as they visit us and share interesting facts about them along our garden tour.

11:00 AM - 5:00 PM

The Bordentown Historical Society (“BHS”) is thrilled to announce the re-opening of the Bordentown Friends Meetinghouse Museum and grand opening of our unique and priceless, new Joseph Bonaparte exhibit.

The launch of the exhibit marks the first public opening of the meetinghouse in more than two years. Noteworthy, guests will be hosted in the space following the most significant renovation inside the meetinghouse in more than 20 years. Starting May 1st, the meetinghouse will be open twice a month for visitation, in addition to special events throughout 2022 to educate the public on Joseph Bonaparte, the former King of Naples and Spain and, perhaps, Bordentown’s most famous one-time resident.

Friends Meeting House, 302 Farnsworth Ave., Bordentown, NJ 08505 The museum is scheduled to be open twice a month. Please email us or check our website for more information. www.BordentownHistory.org
