10:00 AM

Join Hunterdon Land Trust and Frenchtown Borough Historian Rick Epstein on Saturday, June 12 at 10 a.m. for a walking tour of this fascinating Delaware River town. You'll learn how Frenchtown got its name; who might've started the Great Fire of 1878; the little girl who made Frenchtown's first direct-dial phone call in 1961; Senator Martin's alligators; the time a building fell on Louie Gelegonya's Ford Falcon; why Mary Tyler Moore spent the night in Frenchtown (but Aaron Burr didn't!), and lots more.

The walking tour is free, but you must register in advance. To do so, simply email dave@hunterdonlandtrust.org. Rain date is Saturday, June 19 at 10 a.m.
