Health & Wellness Day, 31 & Main Farmers Market at Campus Town

The College of New Jersey’s Campus Town [GPS address: 1928 Pennington Road/Route 31] invites the public, this Sunday, August 19th to Health & Wellness Day the third of five community events folded into this year’s 31&Main Farmers Market line up. 31&Main Farmers Market will feature its usual high-quality produce, farm fresh artisan products, live entertainment by the Darla Rich Jazz Trio and the promotion of family, community and healthy living.

The market will be open 12noon – 4pm rain or shine on the following Sunday dates August 19, September 23, and October 21. Each date will correspond to an awesome community event such as: Healthy Sundays, Family Fun Day, and the annual Fall Festival, respectively.

Enjoy a 2-mile, two-and-a-half hour walk around downtown Princeton and the University campus as you learn about historic sites in the area, including Bainbridge House, Nassau Hall, the University Chapel and Palmer Square. The early history of Princeton, the founding of the University and the American Revolution are just some of the stories from Princeton’s history that you will learn on your tour.

Tickets are $7. Advance purchase is recommended, as space is limited. Walk up ticket sales are cash only; guides cannot provide change.

Beth El Synagogue Seniors Afternoon of Opera

On Sunday, August 19, 2018 at 3:00 pm, the Beth El Synagogue of East Windsor Seniors present 'An Afternoon of Opera, lovers and other strangers'. The afternoon will present the arias and duets of Dvorak, Donizetti, Korngold, Massenet, Mozart, Puccini and Verdi performed by Cecelia Chaisson, soprano, Eve Edwards, soprano, Ana Maria Ruimonte, soprano, Dora Schnur, soprano, Shelly O'Hara Tapp, soprano, Vincent Abamo, tenor, David Hobbs, baritone, David Tapp, baritone with Joseph Krupa at the piano.
