Cynthia Cordes (Flute Player)
is a graduate of Syracuse University's School of Music. She studied Classical
flute with John Oberbrunner and Harold Bennett, Jazz flute with Hubert
Laws at the Atlantic Center for the Arts, and Irish traditional music in
the pubs of Dublin and Doolin, where she also learned the fine art of juggling
pints and jigs. Cynthia played recently for the Passage Theatre production
of The Gift of the Magi and Princeton Society of Musical Amateurs'
recent reading of Gilbert & Sullivan's Iolanthe. Ms. Cindy performs
original music for children as "The Adventures of CindyLou". Her
self-titled cd is available in area music stores or can be purchased by
calling 908-431-1787. Cynthia is also the ("singing") children's librarian
at the Princeton Public Library, and is most inspired by the preschool
crowd.
