improvements to Timberlane, but also for new TG gym floor and some drainage

Spectrum
Project has been changed to a Gifted and Talented program. Informational sessions will be held at the
High School on October 6 and 7.

Wish
List was presented, it will be voted on during the next meeting

Initial
total of original requests was $9,600. Principal
reduced requests to a total of $4,800.
§
Initial
budget allocation was $4,000 from the PTO budget.

The Wish
List was discussed and some suggestions were made: parents may be able to
provided disposable cameras for 2nd grade project (beanie babies or
Flat Stanley), local merchants may be able to donate paint for mural in the TLC
lab, ask parents to donate games for 5th grade indoor recess
§
Final
wish list proposal, to be voted upon at the next meeting, is to increase the
budget allocation to $6,000, add in the art supplies and increase the number of
Orff instruments to a total of 8. Also,
add another fundraiser to the budget (similar to Kid Art Cards, but additional
art items) for the fall. Plan clothing
fundraiser for February.

Treasurer’s Report – Kim presented the new 2004-2005 budget.

School Board Representative, Kevin Doran:

At Back
to School Night there will be a presentation on the Referendum.
o
In
response to an earlier discussion on acquiring video material, Kevin mentioned
that the High School has some video cameras available and students from the
video class may be able to tape some of the TG productions.
