Womanspace Barbara Boggs Sigmund Award Event May 23

May 6, 2019- Tony Porter, founder and CEO of A CALL TO MEN, will be honored by Womanspace at the 25th Annual Barbara Boggs Sigmund Award Event held on Thursday, May 23 from 5:30 to 9 PM at the Hyatt Regency Princeton. Advanced registration is required.

Porter is an author, educator and social justice activist. His 2010 TED Talk was named by GQ Magazine as one of the “Top 10 TED Talks every man should see.” Womanspace honors Porter for his efforts to prevent violence against women while promoting the importance of a healthy manhood.

In addition to an inspiring program, the night will include dinner, drinks, exclusive goodie bags, a vacation raffle, and a silent auction. Special thanks to Janssen Pharmaceuticals, this year’s Presenting Sponsor.

One Committee Member commented, “The Barbara Boggs Sigmund Award Event has always been an opportunity for the community to learn more about the prevalent issues of domestic and sexual violence. This year’s honoree brings a new perspective to these issues, which is particularly important in the post-#MeToo era.”

For sponsorship opportunities, donations, ticket pricing and more information visit www.womanspace.org. Tickets are still available, but prices increase on May 10. The proceeds from this event go to providing services for men, women, and children effected by domestic or sexual violence.
