Founded on October 10, 1979 by Joe "Hop-along" Burns of the Medan HHH, Princeton HHH is THE OLDEST HASH in Princeton, New Jersey. Well on our way to our 1,234th hash, the Princeton Hash House Harriers are undoubtedly the most politically correct hash in the country, rarely sinking into depraved drunken stupors and applying our motto (see above) equally to all ages, races, genders and Effross, as we frolic on weekly jaunts through New Jersey's finest swamplands (more toxic waste sites than any other state). We love shiggy - pavement pounding is strictly frowned upon - we run dead hare mainly, totally non-competitive (just ask "242") and we emphasize keeping the pack together for an hour run that covers about 4 miles (or 8 miles if you're Hand Solo) followed by beer, chips, salsa and down downs. Our esteemed Grand Master is the mellifluent and rugged WeePee, the storied Archivist hisself.
Winter (Labor Day to Memorial Day) - Sundays, 2pm Stevenson Hall
Summer (Memorial Day to Labor Day) - Sundays, 5pm Stevenson Hall
The PHHH meets every Sunday at 2pm in the parking lot behind Stevenson Hall at 87 Prospect Street in Princeton, NJ. (Right next to the Princeton University Computer Center). During the summer (Memorial Day to Labor Day, in theory) the PHHH meets on Sundays at 5pm. Ten minutes later we drive to the start. Start locations can sometimes be obtained through email before the runs (See Wacko below), or from this very page.
