Descriptions, Polemics, and Lies: First Date

Hey YO! Paully felt like a nervous school boy again, all sweaty palms 
and strangled throat and bulging shorts. He'd set a great watershed 
hash, paid a heron to stick around, bought some decent beer, made a 
burnt offering to the weather sprites, and Itemized Seduction and Not 
Suitable for Horses took care of the second female and cute dog 
requirements. 

Meanwhile, on the ride out from Prospect, Premature Graduation 
updated Weepee, Clam in Mouth, and Delicate Psyche on the fate of 
Karin, a one-note hound (see 
www.princetonol. com/groups/ phhh/archive/ 982.9.txt) and Pennington HS 
grad. Yes, they'd broken up and yes she'd gone to college and was 
now beginning a master's program in Pittsburgh, and you think there's 
a snowball's chance in a microwave that she'll want to get back 
together, now that I've finished college?

Well, yes. And while PG was still digesting the enzymatic 
dissolution of his youthful illusions and extracting himself from 
Huipy's dentmobile at the start, there she was, a comely visitor 
named Vanessa, who seemed to take the trails, the checkmarks, the 
watery bits, the shiggy, and the decent beer all in good stride. In 
fact, she took the beer in very good stride while Itemized bellowed 
in the tricky shiggy nearby, bearing birthday cake and other goodies 
from the latest Saturday night Lit Club blow-out.

Surely she'd return? Hadn't the hare and male hounds properly 
balanced lewdness with Princetonian propriety, and didn't she seem 
really and truly sincere when Vanessa said she'd be back?

Yes, she did, and no, she hasn't, which isn't going to do Premature 
Graduation or the next pretty face a lick of good short of Not 
Suitable for Horses' affections when Paully starts riffing on double 
and single entendres.
