BRISTOL SWAMP STOMP

Good job to SafeSweats and seven other souls for attending the Bristol
Swamp.
You could have floated your couch down the trail yesterday,
especially at the on in. For those that braved the elements, 
that which doesn't drown you only makes you stronger.
Splashing through the greater Bristol environs were Great Sex, 
Han Solo, Not Suitable for Horses, Hey Yo Pauly, Itemized Seduction,
Weepee, SafeSweats, and hare Cliff Diver.
Trudging through the tall grass and wooded trails behind the Rohm
and Haas chemical plant in Bristol, the soaking eight stayed mostly
on the flour strewn heavily before by hare Cliff. Hashers were treated
to sights of herons, egrets, and cranes as a pond trimmed with short
green grass was run by in the early stages of trail.
A narrow path cut through two ponds out to power lines and numerous
checks. Weepee was not outfoxed by the backcheck halfway through trail
and sped to the beer check, among birch tree saplings in a hidden
grove not far from the Delaware River.
As if advised by some telepathic GPS, Itemized and Not Suitable were
first to the jello shot check, but left early to follow trail backward
to the pack.
Soon, all met again at the shot check on an old, abandoned tennis
court in the Maple Beach section of town. Watermelon was consumed at
this check as well, and the refueled minions again set out in search
of bleached, self-rising flour.
Traversing along the roads and trails just inland from the Delaware,
the soggy eight made a final trip through the dunes and rock trails
overlooking Basin Park.
ON IN brought a thunder burst, but this did not daunt the spirits of
the Bristol Swampers as they gorged on chips, salsa, Pilsner Urquell,
remaining jello shots, cookies, yada, yada, yada.
A few down downs ensued as Itemized Seduction was presented with a
matching funds check from Princeton H3 to offset the cost of Not
Suitable for Horses recent veterinary bills.
All broke ON IN after an hour or so of regalia, some shivering from
the damp and dropping climes.
