PHHH #996.9 Date: Wednesday, July 7, 2004 Place: Hopewell Valley Baseball/Sofball Fields, Scotch Road Weather: Brewing Hare: Safe Sweats Hounds: Hey YO! Paully, Bjorn Dork, Premature Graduation, Jan, Ouipee, Stigmata, Dan Waldman, Kathleen Coggeshall, Polish Twin A, Polish Twin C Virgin: Caroline Quinn (future GM, Bowdoin HHH) Polemics, Descriptions, and Lies It didn't take 12 inches of sudden rain to obscure the hare's marks, which were already small enough to be blocked by a passing deer tic, much less obliterated by the spattered drool of the hounds. And it didn't a hare obviously suffering from the blind staggers for the pack to ignore a certain amount of pointless zigzagging through the fields and scrubby shiggy of the hare's workplace. Still, there were some mindless interfering with softball games at the start, PG still has much to learn from the self-effacing ways of Dr. No, scratches, yes more tangles, a bit of scuttling, and enough beer and basketball (a PHHH first? About time!) for a decent hash. Caroline was thoroughly impressed if only because Geezer wasn't bleeding on her and couldn't wait to set around the Naval Air Station in Brunswick. Doubtless their security is a tad more stringent than corporate Amerika's, though Safe Sweats kept his V8 idling and his ID firmly posted on his forehead in the event they question the boozy gathering in the rec area. Special down down for the Polish Twins, joined at the liver and sharing a brain, as A--or is it C?--takes his leave and heads west.
