PHHH #977.9 Date: Sunday, February 29, 2004 2/29/04 hARED by Pyro and Bumps Debacle start led to a shuttlecock of car to another lot at Pleasant Valley and the Delaware anal. Hounded by: Polish Twin A, Polish Twin C, Weepee, Brain Injury Volunteer, Wacko, Hey Yo Paully, Dave Driscoll, Bjorn Dork. On the run - there were many thorn that shredded us along the way. Wacko knew where everything was so was way ahead of everybody and even Cell Phoned some "On-On!"s. As he was DNF, he'll only get 0.5 credit. Two beer breaks really helped me feel good. The trail was far too straight after the second of these and I fell behind with PTC. Dave should have been named IHOP at this second break - for multiple reason - and to top it off it was Leap Day! Skirt the Quarry and got to the suttlecocked parking lot! Imbibe. At the Apres - BIV lap danced for us. Much was discussed, including blondes and dogs. The person we couldn't exactly recall were Pam, by way of Grant! If only Wacko was around - he would have remembered (I guess he had to go see his kids (well my kid waited for me I'll have you know - he wasn't even there upon my bloddy return!) On the way home - I was pulled over on the way home by a balding officer. I said to the officer, "Are you in the habit of pulling over religious?" He said, "What in God's name are you talking about." I told him to look at my forehead. Pyro - can you show the hash world what the officer then witnessed? I told him to go see Mel Brooks "The Passion" and to thin no more. I sped off. I couldn't stop by and see if Solo and Fool did the Hardcore on Monday. I didn't want a particular cop to see my car again anytime soon. =================================================================================================== SECOND WAVE REPORT When: 24 hours after main pack Hounds: Fool and Solo Time: 3 hours Weather: Nuptial Before setting off, Fool presented Solo with "Just Married" balloons he found hashing, to give to Spawn. Deflated but good. That's when the park ranger appeared to check us out. Picture the scene - two guys standing around holding aforementioned balloons. Move over Rosie, which way to San Francisco? We got him to take picture then moved on. We missed the marks in the woods so split up and hit asphalt over to Rt 29. We met at the penitentiary then ran south on 29. "Two guys wearing shabby gear, one holding a swag bag" must be what the dispatcher said. Hopewell Twp police are on their toes, it only took ten minutes to round us up after the call came in. Not sure the occifer believed us, but he took picture of us draped over the hood of the cop car then let us go. Found the Wachspress arrow on 29, wondered if it was the on-in. Backtracked on-trail for a while, off-trail for another while then got back to the start. Backassed indeed. Solo took off leaving DF to fend for hisself. Hare dropped a hint by email but Solo not smart enough to check email before heading out. =================================================================================================== THIRD WAVE REPORT Tooo much time on my hands, by Wayne Winslow Following trail 25 meters from where WE PARKED, trail was well marked until found check, Saw arrow but no marks, looped around and found more trail, well marked until , u guessed it, another check. Found road, headed back to car. Drove from the area we split up at 3:15 approx 1 mile and parked. Found trail that headed to the marks u and I found. By then, getting dark...onon
