THE RETURN OF THE DING
sequel to
THE TWO TOWELS

Clad in a hefty trash bag to stand against the  interminable drizzle, Sam (aka Wacko) loyally
awaited the arrival of Frodo (aka Oui Pee) at the Yardley Park & Ride.  Setting off barely
before 7pm with darkness looming, the two beleaguered survivors of the Fellowship of the PHHH 
set off through the muddied wastelands in search of Mordor.  In sooth, they did manage to stay
on trail for better than 45 minutes and found the double-cross atop Mt. Doom, but with night 
falling and chilluns crying for papa at home, Sam coerced Frodo to return to the start, 
braving shortsighted drivers rather than the torrents of the dingy creek.  Recon par les 
voitures failed to unearth the dark lord Solo and any hash vituals from the Far East, so the 
dynamic duo returned home, satisfied with getting some good exercise and experiencing some 
deep shiggy. Perhaps this venue can be resurrected whence a larger crowd can enjoy it.  But 
with more and more hashers choosing copulation over congregation, it may take a generation 
for our numbers to return to respectability.
