A couple of opto guys marking a line and hashing

Truly, this is the year of linearity, every hash seeming to require some 
tedious 6-mile jaunt alongside a road before getting to some decent shiggy 
or, failing that, quicksand.  'Course, it stands to reason that a couple of 
laser dweebs would set in a straight line, but at least they included that 
semisolid area last traversed by Nonsensei between the Stony Creek and 
Route 1 before inflicting 3 miles of tow path under 295 to get to Holding 
Out's complex.  One had to wonder what he did to or for his neighbors that 
none of them joined in or screamed at the boisterous on-in.

"You were so fast!" exclaimed the astonished pair of virgin hares. Why not?  
The pack merely acted in a collimated fashion, hashers following parallel 
paths on either side of marks the size of dodgeball circles. Some dichroic 
mirrors to filter the wheat from the chaff would not have been out of place.

Was anything heard at the on-in?  We're on the verge of another emaciated 
Geezerian year-in-review 'less some people cough up some quotes--the more 
apocryphal, the better.
