The River Not Taken

Washington didn't cross there, and neither did Weepee.  Two sojourns about 
halfway to the lower end of the islands in the Delaware convinced him that 
the next step would take him to Maryland's Eastern Shore.  As a result no 
one, not even Paully, who circumnavigated the two states between the Conrail 
and Morrisville bridges, found the marks to the on-in in West Trenton's 
Island neighborhood.

Still, that didn't stop the pack from having a splendid time floundering 
among the coils of giant woody vines in the woods between the towpath and 
River Road.  Which was a good thing because no one exploited the fitness 
trail at the dull start in Lower Makefield Community Park, honing their 
physiques instead by jogging south along the soccer fields and the towpath.  

A typical Weepee set, analogous to his physique, with long legs entering 
the extended lower intestinal twists in a narrow strip of land, with no 
apparent way to reach the on-in short of following the erratic trail he 
laid.
