Go, Figure, Eight

Well if no one else is going to do it......

The directions were awful, DNARA must be taking lessons from WiPi. And then, 
mirabile dictu, he instructs WiPi to start us off in the right direction. 
Trusting WiPi, whose sense of direction was amputated at birth, to get us 
going is surely like setting the fox among the chickens or hiring Willie 
Sutton to guard your bank. 

"Why do you keep robbing banks, Willie?"

"Because that's where they keep the money."

Anyway, DNARA had set a figure 8, always risky, and had compounded this 
idiocy by setting a false trail in the direction of the in-trail. So, of 
course WiPi sends us in that direction, we over-run a check, find the 
in-trail and most of the pack then runs the trail backward. Only 
Discomfort, overcome by terminal shyness and delayed through the necessity 
of finding a place to disrobe discretely, and Hey Yo, Paully, who was 
spying on her, escaped the misdirection. 

Now running a trail backward should be no severe problem - been done many 
times on other incompetent sets, but consider what might happen when the 
pack reaches an EFM at the wrong end of a double cross arrow......

Anyway we eventually made it back, DNARA was splendidly unapologetic, and 
nobody died that we can remember.

Yes there is a hash tonight - 6 pm at the usual place or the Hamilton RR 
Station. Pyroman (who??) sets.
