And so it came to pass, that the rains would fall and the rivers would swell, swallowing 
marks of the day before, yet the hare would lead them into the woods, where would be the 
first mark. 

And  a little dog would lead them into the raging waters, and they would follow, young and 
old, weak and strong, and Juicy would rise above the waters, and there find the second mark. 

And Ouipee would swim through tunnels, carrying with him a tree, upon which was the third 
mark.  

And there would be gnashing of teeth and rending of clothes, and the hare would argue among 
herself, where the trail did lead, but still there would be confusion.  Where was the 
fourth mark? 

And Pyroman and Shrinkage would return to their cars, and mourn the absence of beer and 
cheezy-poofs.   And Pumpkin Pie would lead the children safely, but beerless, back to the 
cars, for was there a fifth mark?  

And those who remained would follow the voice of Ouipee, for he knew the location of the 
on-in, but the hare did intervene, and there was more confusion, for there was no sixth 
mark.

And it would come to pass, that the weary hounds would come upon the on-in, and there 
would be Piels, but there would be sorrow, for the memory of the Lllama bore the seventh 
mark.
