OuiPui's Ennui


        OuiPui's post partum thesis blues translated into other kinds of
blues for the pack, namely feet. It's 3:30 on a 32 degree afternoon, and
twenty one people stand in the Millstone Swamp, in various degrees of
immersion that roughly correlate with the degree of diminution of their
mental capacities. Marks lead underwater (OuiPui: "The tide must have come
in."), and there may be an F out there somewhere. Nice. Wacko calls On On
from far in the distance in the other direction. My life has been leading
me to this?
        Back to the tracks, back into more ice-swamps, more F-less falses,
more ice, then the End is Obvious - Sarnoff - who would have guessed? The
pack circled the end, tried to cross Route 1, headed directly away from the
finish (brain cells frozen) and finally made its way home.
        Keystone Light and wiggly orange things at the On In. Leading
contender for bad food of the year.
        Enough, already. Anyway, who cares? Yawn.
