Rookies: Two Orgo Students, Ron the Prospective Freshman, 
         Some Girl I Didn't get to meet but who I was told 
          swam across the lake.


                    "HE CHOSE POORLY"


The above was said of the poor bloke in Indiana Jones
and the Temple of Doom who chose the wrong
Holy Grail and lived only briefly thereafter.
It also refers to my exploits yesterday, after 
directing the "pricker-challenged" prospective freshman, Ron,
(not a prospective hasher) back to the
cars - every choice of mine led to excellent terrain
but no marks as I circled Davidson Mill Pond Park
in the wrong direction, only to meet up with
Ro Jo an hour later.  She, of course, was looking for
the "jail bait" (isn't she always), ostensibly to rescue he who
was already rescued (and no doubt drinking and eating
with the rest of the hounds by then.)  We arrived at the on in just in
time to see the last car driving away, last car except for Booger,
that is, who went off on foot to try to find us, returning
as we were leaving.  Fortunatlely Rubber Alan and Llloda were
still in the vicinity to supply us with some Twizzlers and soda.


Rumor has it that the rookies were the only ones stalwart
(aka foolish) enough to swim the pond, the others opting for the go
round to a beer check.  The trail performed a perfect 
"circumscision" of the pond, then sliced through some woods
to some celebratory snarfing.  I hear the swamp was excellent,
and the swim refreshing - some day I'll have to take you on
the hash I ran.
