Or, better, what drugs should they be on? The large pack was just cruisin' along, more or less mindlessly running through a rather vanilla, no shiggy set by Wacko, and was just emerging from one of the decaying industrial sites for which the great state of New Jersey is so justly famous. It was no great surprise to find a pair of big-haired harridans screeching at us from their stoops - that's pretty much expected. Maybe, just maybe, the Geezer shouldn't have screamed back that it was the end of the world and that they had only a few minutes left in which to get a life. But soon we were set upon by a truly hideous creature, enraged, yapping, and flecked with foam, which ran us down and attacked. Moreover, this atavistic hellhound, obviously suffering from a serious case of short man syndrome, had his dog with him, a Siberian Husky of mammoth proportions. The dog soon ran somewhat afoul of Tree, who was clearly considering which section of the Husky to eat first, as he held the pitiful creature by its head. Tree gets the PH3 first Hero Award for thinking better of it all. Second Hero Award goes to Tropical for not responding to Shorty's f-word laden invitation to rumble. Oh well, we have seen similar folk before, if not quite so violent, and I suppose we'll see more of them. The hash itself wasn't bad, and, given the high slime content of the last couple of weeks, maybe the lack of serious shiggy is acceptable. At the Apres there was good food, lotsa beer, and a grand time was had by all as we killed time waking Mini and Microwacko from untroubled sleeps, making out in the hammock, and occupying our fading brains with speculation as the the fates of NBL and Fool'spal, long missing. Wacko effected a rescue, a great filum was shown to the delight of all, and it was just one more wasted evening on the hashing trails of life. Down-down to LLLoda, who timed it nicely - 25 hashes on her 25th birthday. NBL will hit 25 on his next hash. This is the latest schedule that YBS has. Clearly we need some setters. #726.4 Wed, July 28, 1999, 6 pm, 87 Prospect, Table Toes Sets. #727.4 Wed, Aug 4, 1999, 6 pm, 87 Prospect, LRF Sets??? #728.4 Wed, Aug 11, 1999, 6 pm, 87 Prospect, Throatwarbler Mangrove sets. #729.4 Wed, Aug 18, 1999, 6 pm, 87 Prospect, ????
