Descriptions, Polemics, Lies:


Tha mood had been set.  It was a classic venue, a temptress of a hash in the idyllic 
forests around Mt Airey Park.  The excitement of the first summer hash mounted with 
each step in the mud. The inevitable dam crossing was captivating, the romp through 
the pine forest bewitching, the hounds eager in their pursuit of pleasure.


Alas, the road to romance is never smooth; the trail into the culvert off of Rt206 
amid angry police splintered our pack, seducing a few with the deepest underground "F" 
ever seen by the PHHH, but leaving the rest to mill about, somehow unsatisfied.  


Like a knight in shining armor, our valiant hare appeared to those left behind, 
heroically leading them to the on-in.  Our star-crossed pack was reunited over chips, 
salsa, and a cheesecake (although HeyYo! and his navel were conspicuously absent).  
With mounting excitement and a beer in hand, RoJo and all were blissfully declaring 
this hash NOT a debacle when disaster struck.  The moment that all men fear and women 
dread, the on-in went limp.  Completely flaccid.  Rojo had set up a down-down for 
Skaarth Vader only to find that <gasp> this was the last beer.  One beer each for a 
summer hash?  The horror!  Could the Grand Dominatrix  be satisfied by only one man?   
The disappointment was palpable;  once again, this hash was a DEBACLE!  What had early 
on been declared the best hash of the summer of  '99 is now cast as the worst hash of 
the summer of '99... at least until next Wednesday.
