                          Babe: Shiggy in the City


   The Grand Dominatrix ran over to the Geezerheim just before we 
left, but Mrs. Geezer informed her that our flealess leader was 
cowering under the bed, mumbling something about Rambo, and Trenton, 
and giant pink stuffed bunnies.  RoJo stormed in, elbowing aside the 
poor unsuspecting Mrs. Geezer.  "Geezer!" she raged.  "Get your 
sorry-ass scar-legged organic-chemistry-teaching tea-drinking 
colored-chalk-wearing Grakul-of-Frakula-visiting textbook-laying 
bleeding Geezer butt down here!  Darling.  Sweetheart?"


   Nothing.  Not a whimper.  It was hopeless.


   So we hashed in the 'hood without our Grand Master.  It's OK, he 
would have whined about the roadwork anyway.


   Unbelievably, there was surprisingly little pavement-pounding on 
this city hash.  Rambo and his able assistant managed to find all of 
the shiggy in Trenton, apparently making use of valuable inside 
information and all of their pink-bunny wielding and crocodile-faced 
informants.  At various points, we lost Wacko and Rubber Alan, who 
slipped away for a tryst ("We must have crossed the trail and not 
seen it."  Yeah, right); Cousin It, who, never having seen shiggy in 
Philly, got confused and wandered back to the start; and Joy (well, 
duh).  They showed up eventually, and we made it through another week 
without killing a hasher.  Two cheers for Rambo and Weepee!


   Ob. Debacle: while the hash was a surprising success, the apres was 
atrocious, especially the fish hoagies.  Almost, gentlemen.  Almost.


   Overheard: old lady addressing Joy: "Hey Long-Hair, you got a cigarette?"
