PRINCETON HHH HASH #678.4 Date: September 14, 1998 Weather: Martian Venue: Grovers Mill to Princeton Time: 1:30 (long) Set By: Rubber Alan Hashers: RoJo, Booger, Hey Yo! Paully!, Discomfort, Uranus Williams, A Joy to His Mother, Justin Notestein, Juicy Concentrate, Erin Walsh, Delay LLLama Rookies: Grant Wallace, Morrow Pettigrew Descriptions, Polemics, and Lies: Next time we're taking the UFO Rookie Set. How two words can mean so much, we may never know. How 12 (count 'em) hashers could be dumb enough to come on a rookie set after the Noachian fiasco of Hurricane Rob, we will surely never know. I mean what are the odds that 12 people could be so dumb simultaneously? Well, let's see. There's the two rookies, they didn't know any better. There's Justin and Erin, who had obviously forgotten how dumb hashing is, let alone the insanity of running a rookie set. Hey Yo! Paully! knows he can always find a road to run on, so he enjoyed himself immensely this week. The LLLama understands all about setting in two neat places separated by miles of pavement. Note for the rookie hare: TWO neat places. That leaves the usual suspects: Joy, Ms. Jaundice, Discomfort, Uranus, Juicy, and Booger. The chances of them being stupid enough to show up on any given week are, to be blunt, high. The first 20 minutes were passable, with some nice mud, thorns, and other assorted shiggy. At the train tracks, everything went to hell. Paully found the invisble F and the invisible Wachspress double-cross arrow (no doubt near the humming train), while the rest of the group decided it would be more fun to wade across waist-deep (or breast-deep, depending on your petiteness quotient) streams. Two true trails. What a rookie set. We won't even talk about the 4 miles of pavement, including a 3 mile stretch down Harrison Street from Route 1 to the Princeton Shopping Center. Suffice it to say that we counted our blessings that the Geezer stayed home to nurse his festering wounds. On On The Unknown Hasher NEXT HASHES: WE NEED HARES AGAIN FOLKS!!!!!!
