                           Another Solo Masterpiece

   One can always count on Hand Solo to set unbelievably long hashes that
nobody really minds.  We are stupid, we admit, but when he offered us the
chance to bail out at an hour and twenty minutes, not ONE PERSON suggested
that we just call it a day, drink some beer, and go home.  Everyone seemed
to think that it was the most natural thing to keep going, knowing full
well that there was at least another half hour or he wouldn't have had a
beer check for us.

  We got completely turned around, and even Wacko didn't know which way was
up, but for the most part, we managed to stay together.  Solo led us on a
lovely tour of a shallow stream for about half a mile, finally ending up at
Computer Associates on Route 206 north of Montgomery Center.

  Hey Yo! Paully! swears that he was on flour (he was on something...) in
some other direction, and Quickie ran all the way back to the cars (at
least half a mile) rather than just give up and go get some work done up
the street from the On-In.

  For a moment, we shivered and were jealous of RoJo's trash bag couture,
but then Paully and Solo showed up and took us back to sunny Hobler Park,
where we ranted and raved for another hour or so.
