Hashers Par Excellence: The Reluctant Breeder, Charles ?? (his second hash; his first was 644.4) Hashers: Always Open, 242, The Gerbils are Sick and Tired, Wacko, Adam Kessel, Colleen Kennedy, Drew Ronneberg, RoJo, In Up To His Waste, A Joy to His Mother, Delay LLLama, Uranus Williams, Jeff Skaar, Speed Bumps, Rose (HYPaully's sister), Walt (HYPaully's brother) Rookies: Aaron HeyYo'sCoworker, Peter, Chris HeyYo'sBrotherInLaw, Benedicta and Michael the Danish folk Descriptions, Polemics, and Lies: Ah, the suffering... the sweet, sweet suffering Another setter has graduated from the Delay LLLama school of setting. Let's see, there was obfuscation and prevarication from the hare at the start, a long straight false, tons and tons and tons and tons of pavement, and beautiful shiggy *near, but not on* the trail. Did I forget anything? Oh yeah, it was also 3.5 hours long for the two brave souls who stuck it out until the very end. Hey Yo! Paully! would have graduated magna cum loudly, but he screwed up on one important facet of LLLama setting -- he left FLOUR on the trail. This grievous error earned him a tongue-lashing from his mentor. What is there to say? We ran for an hour on crappy roads, making it to a perfectly acceptable On-In, complete with regular-flavor (not Sky Bloo Creme, Pyro Man!) Oreos, Gatorade galore, Hi-C, bananas, beer: the works. All was quiet on the Cranbury Front. But noooooo, there went Hey Yo! Paully! in his hey-yo-mobile, yelling "ON ON!" The trail continued. And idiot half-minds that we are, we continued too. And continued, and continued. Eventually, the main pack reached an F at the end of a 3-mile long false trail. Great gnashing of teeth and rending of garments ensued, until rookie Aaron informed us that he knew the way to Hey Yo! Paully's house, and that it was a mere half mile away. Just like his biblical namesake, Aaron took over leadership from the faltering 242 and Joy, leading his wandering people to the Promised Land of plastic floor covering, girlie mags, and seafood gumbo. The highlights of the Apres were Hey Yo! Paully's gumbo down-down and Crazy Norm's belligerent answering machine message. Yum-Yum.
