PRINCETON HHH HASH #637.4 Date: December 14, 1997 Weather: Vast Venue: End of #636.4-Woods-Quarry-Rocky Hill Time: ca. 0.45 Set By: A Joy to His Mommy Hashers: Ice Blue Balls [Tree and Darby], Geezer, Valerie, 242, Pinup, Booger, Bang Him Harder, Jeff Skarr, Reluctant Breeder Rookie: JP Descriptions, Polemics, and Lies: Breeder pulled up in his brand new pollution-mobile, Reluctant Girlfriend at the wheel. As usual, she was not allowed to show her face to the surly crew assembled in the parking lot. She drove away, wheels screeching, as toxic vapors sufficient for the fumigation of several small countries were wasted on the assembled pack. Rookie JP joined us. He was reluctant to give his last name, but he is rumored to be the long lost scion of the J. P. Morgan stolen fortunes. At least his name sounded something like Morgan - could it have been Moron? Joy set from the end of his last pathetic effort, and the pack treated it with the respect it deserved, taking a full 10 minutes to find the second mark, which was nestled a good 30 feet from the start. JP showed his hashing aptitude immediately, becoming lost 30 seconds after the start, and never, as far as anyone knows, finding the second mark - or, probably, the starting check itself. Across Canal Road, through the decaying bunkers and pillboxes of the sadly defunct Scout Camp for Crypto-Fascists, across a "Sound of Music" EFM, happily back to the thorn-ridden woods, trans-quarry to an end more or less congruent with the "end" of last year's Rambo-induced fiasco of a Hard Corps Hash. Next week we warm up for the new hashing year, and A. G. Zaire will set the annual Winter Solstice Hash of darkness, misery, and pain. Rumor has it that he is in a bad, bad mood as Rojo's duties as Grande Dominatrixe have kept her busy lately, and their annual December tryst in Kinshasha has had to be postponed. I saw him just the other day in his private room in the back of the Belle Meade Inn and he did seem to be in an unusually foul humor, so next week should be excellent. The New Year always begins with some of the most sacred hash high holidays. The anniversary of the Death of G will fall on Feb. 8th this year, and we will celebrate Losar a little later. Will the Delay LLama favor us with some Chang, Tibetan barley beer, again? Let us all fervently hope not. And, of course The Geezer and Wacko will set the VIth Hard Core Hash on February 22. Hard Core Hashes have suffered (as have the participants) mightily the last two years: no finishers and one death (Bambi XVIII, last year, cruelly chased into a 10,000 volt fence by the Geezer and Toxic Waste). This year things will be different, as we will not be at the mercy of such incompetent traditional non-finishers as Rambo, Hand Job, and 242. There will be pain and there will surely be much suffering, but there will be finishers. NO MONEY, NO T-SHIRTS, NO WHINING, and, of course, absolutely NO MERCY!
