PRINCETON HHH HASH #636.4 Date: Dec. 7, 1997 Weather: Cool and overcast with river water making it colder (or so I was told) Venue: Rocky Hill Time: 1.5 hr or so Set By: A Joy to His Mother Hashers: Delay LLLama,242, Speedbumps, RoJo, Booger, Pyroman, Wendy (She REALLY needs a name by now folks!!!) Sullivan Joy to His Mother PART I or "Since I have THE SECOND bag of flour left I'll reset the second half of this one for next week!" Descriptions, Polemics, and Lies: Joy suggesting we should bring dry bags should have been an omen to turn back at the fist site of the mighty river but not everyone did. But more on this later. A clever ploy at the start of parking on the West side of the highway when the true trail was on the East did not detour our small but clever band of hounds. A good forty five minutes later they had made it at least 300 yards and into the second check mark. OK so like I said clever not intelligent. Let's see ...... we ran past that one tree, through the back yard of that white house down the road (TOOOOO much road...booooooooring) and then into the cemetery (that was a nice touch). At this point a single arrow showed the way into shiggy that only Geezer could love hence the pack found the trail on the road, only to find it leading to a beer stop of Bud (is that an oxymoron or what... beer and Bud in the same sentence?!?!). It was at this point that JOY pointed to the far off radio tower and said "You see the white on the red paint...it was all red this morning ...you pick up the trail there" HA HA we all thought. But there may still be flour there...there wasn't any on the other side of the river! And then came the mighty river. The pack having lost site of 242 but hearing his cries of ON ON on the other side slowly began, one by one, to make the river crossing. Watching RoJo wade knee deep only to fall chest deep with three feet to go left all but Wendy COLD to the idea. So, splintered and in confusion the two packs carried on. Soon it was obvious all were lost...242's cries of ON ON soon turned to "looking" only to go to "Are you?" Having crossed the river our band of four now realized 242 had lead his band of three back to the other side.....(How did that happen?). But it was destined to be...they regrouped at the site of last Febs Hardly a Hash Hash (thanks for setting inside the quarry Rambo!!) all be it a Booger short. And a quick run down the cannel trail (picking up Booger, or was that picking a Booger, along the way) our more or less regrouped pack found the Hare saying..."gee I thought I dropped more flour" and "I think we should end it here this week" Beer/ soda and chips were had by all, while capitalistic marketing ideas were flung around. By the way what does everyone think of marketing the "Moons of the PHHH" calendar over the Net. We think we could eliminate having to pay hash cash if only we could sell pictures of one anothers...well...back sides? Think about it! Next week : Joy Part II NEXT HASHES: Volunteer, or experience the Wrath of the Grand Dominatrix.
