A: Still out on this #$%&@$$#!!! Hash through the HOOD!! Gee Why did LLama have to be a "Kill Joy"??? THE DELAY LLAMA IS DEAD....LONG LIVE KILL JOY!!!!!!!! Well after the last Llama, er oops I mean Kill Joy set I vowed never to come back for more. Any Hash that could get 242 asking for it to be called off is no hash I'd like to repeat (by the way where was 242 last night???). Well, starting approximately 3.5 miles due North of Downtown Trenton I felt safe we would avoid most of the HOOD....silly me. Several long falses later we found some of the flour around the concrete jungle. Much to our surprise Kill Joy had managed to find some truely amazing mud down by the Ol' Toxic Millstream. It was only 0.5 cm thick and hard packed underneath...wonderful for sliding into the stream on!! From there Joy found the regroup several of us missed and was going on and on about the nice selection of condoms available in this neighborhood. Toss in a large field of waving weeds, an Amtrack line and a drop down the bridge to the road and the pack was more or less together. Well that had to end. Let's go left.....well huh this looks like the HOOD...let's go right...too bad Joy missed the call. Next the swim sent your's truely back to the road fora bridge...chest + deep icey water's not my idea of fun. Luckily English, now carrying one very mean looking stuffed bunny and I had no problem following the wet tracks to a impromtu regroup. Rojo: "Where's Joy?" Pyroman "I thought he was up here" About five minutes later the shivering hounds (many on the verge of hypothermia) decide Joy was a fast enough small enough target for the neighborhood gangs to miss so we went on...sorry Joy! Well no one got lost from there on....perhaps it had something to do with Rojo's wonderful advice of "Maybe we should stick REAL close together". All of this and only half way there!!! Boy I'm getting mad again....maybe someone else should finish this thing......The Tale of the HOOD! Since it only got into worse and worse neighborhoods. One question Kill Joy.....why in the Hell did you continue to set on the BACKS of posts/ signs/ anything even when we were five miles out and going deeper into the HOOD. Have someone tell you about the wonderful gentlemen blocking the trail at one point.....They had recently scored some "Good Shit"...or so it was overheard. Never thought I'd feel safe hashing by a deserted Trenton Parking ramp at dark, but it was better than the streets!!!! -Pyro- (addendum from JOY TO HIS MOTHER)---> BAD JUDGEMENT DAY Pyro has summed it up quite well. For the record, A Joy to his Mother made it (incredibly) all the way to the brickyard, at which point the flour trail had been mysteriously snorted up, leaving Joy with the unenviable task of dripping his way across Route 1 and back to the start. For what it's worth, the run through southern Lawrence Township to the start was much more pleasant than the parts of the so-called trail following the brickyard were reported to be. The On-In was something to behold, by all reports. In the hopes of further poisoning the carnivorous hashers, Kill Joy served up rancid meatballs galore. By the light of Citronella candles (and later headlights), RoJo served Kill Joy a well done lashing of tongue, his just deserts.
