Let's see, space that out over 10 years and you get and average of 2.5 days per finished page and 1/3650th of a kidney stone. Even Sean "Shithouse" "Burns" Smith would be daunted by such a task (and only one 800 page study guide to go!) Perhaps it was in honor of this event that the Geezer most uncharacteristically set a "textbook" hash (-- is it a coincidence that it passed through ETS?) along with rookie setter Speed Bumps, offering a lesson to all would- be hares. The start, (mighty close to the end of the 500th) began with the classic Geezer acting as if the melting snow justifies his vanishing marks (every crowd has it's Geezer whining) and then claiming that there were 100 yards of new terrain on the hash. A hard call to determine where this occurred. Certainly not the recap of the Pascal Trap which found 242 doing a warm-up lap - or the false (with no F) that lured Wacko once again down Provinceline Road toward Cherry Valley Road, 180 degrees in the wrong direction (shades of the infamous 500th) - no , no new terrain yet, as we pounded down asphalt to the most frequented cite of all in Princeton Hash history - that's right, the bridge over Stony Brook on Provinceline Road. Perhaps the 100 yards was the brief turn at this point, looping left before continuing onward inevitably into ETS, no goose encounters this time (see 551.4), as we quickly found ourselves pounding out the last mile to Terhune Orchards, (Table)toe-less, finishing in almost exactly an hour. There was a moment before the end where some angled through the woods from Carter Rd. to the finish - was this the 100 yards?!?! One can only speculate. The highlight of the apres was a down-down to honor G, some ridicule hurled at Darwin's (his b-day) stupidity, and 242 and Hey Yo Paully playing Geezervan tug-of-war. Anticipation of the hard core hash weekend is on the rise.
