Descriptions, comments, polemics, and lies:

Well, after last week's debacle, this hash was almost a return to =
normal, with the exception of the Geezer's absence, a subject much =
discussed throughout the day.  Indeed, the day looked to be interesting =
from the start with RoJo and Niall mentioning an earlier run-in with the =
police, but nothing was to come of this warning. =20

Proceeding through the culvert at the start, the hounds embarked onto a =
muddy trail, which left all sliding and some falling; in addition to the =
mud, they were greeted with a multitude of marks. In the beginning, the =
hounds were reluctant to get their feet wet; all but two decided to =
climb up an overpass instead of getting their feet wet by running along =
the stream beneath.  However, the hares trail ensured that nobody would =
be completely dry (or clean). =20

With surprising ease, the hares negotiated the trail, failing only once =
to find the trail quickly.  However, after climbing a hill near Tyler =
Park, 242 suddenly left the group in silence.  The remainder of the pack =
continued on, after a brief regroup, to a neighboring apartment complex =
where 242 reappeared for the short trip to RoJo's home.  Beer, chili, =
and all the essentials were present, but as one hasher noted there were =
no down-downs -- not even for the rookies. =20
