			A THORNY SITUATION

It's been a while since the PHHH has returned to Mercer County Park,
a site, according to our database, of 38.66 previous Princeton Hashes
(roughly 1 out of 15) - the Geezer's absence was keenly felt as we 
pulled into the start and were not serenaded by the ever-present
cries of "BOOORING". But no doubt, certain GM words of wisdom were
still in the air as first-time hare Table Toes took the wizened one's
constant rookie forewarning of "putting down twice as many
marks as you typically see" to heart and laid what turned out to
be a sprint through the thorns.  Except for certain veterans who
inexplicably prefer to run around the hash on roads instead of slashing
their way through head-high prickers, and other veterans, or should
I say, veteran, who seems to have lost his edge since getting married
and can't even keep up with the pack after making one wrong guess,
or other veterans who would rather head back to the cars than face
more thorns - the rest of the pack were treated to some wonderful
hash terrain and a trail marked well enough that even Solo could have
found his way.  Dare we suggest to a rookie hare to be more devious?!?!

Don't forget - hunting season is upon us!  Time for us to put on our antlers.

Friends at 6 pm Sunday. PLEASE PLEASE let the Geezer know
(mjjr@chemvax.princeton.edu) if you are coming so he can get a head count.
