Descriptions, comments, polemics, and lies: Cliches are cliches because
they are cliches. It's like roses, sort of. Stereotypes are stereotypes
because they are stereotypal. It's sort of like cliches, like. So most of
the pack greeted the long tunnels at the start of this run with due
respect, indeed near reverence. Though they were difficult to endure, as
they were narrow, long, and filled with malodorous water containing
occasional floating objects of uncertain origin, one was at least paying
dues to a hash-icon. Many hashes devolve after a good start, but this one
held its own rather well throughout. The start was thorny, cloacal, and
wet. The mid range was sylvan, and only the end lost luster because of an
excess of condo-running. 

The LRF eschewed the tunnels, no doubt fearing the putative lurking
denizens, Reptiles, perhaps, with a Fancy for Louisianans. The result was a
spectacular vanishing act. In the usual fashion, he appeared at the finish,
excoriating the setters for incompetence. Another hash icon.
