PRINCETON HHH HASH #566.4 Date: July 31, 1996 Weather: Aquatic Venue: Rocky Hill to Herontown Woods Time: 1:30 Set By: A.G.Zaire Hashers: The Delay LLLama, Mike Arnone, TFM, Wacko, Adam Stuhlfat, Wrong Way, Greg Boner, Reluctant Breeder (in the Breedermobile), Ned The Boy, Pushnermaybe (a little late) Descriptions, comments, polemics, and lies: I caught up with A.G.Zaire during a layover in London on his way to Burundi and asked him if it was true that the swamps of New Jersey almost claimed him during his set. He mumbled something about airport food and flat beer. However, the Geezer reports that the hare nearly drowned in several rivers behind Princeton Ave. that "had no right being there." The hounds were saved such trauma by a rapidly receding waterline and dumb luck plus the half a brain to head for high ground wherever possible. Little to say about the terrain, as was guaranteed by the hare - "there will be absolutely not one foot of new terrain on this hash". Not so, as the construction continues and a regroup atop a mountain of scree afforded a nice vista of burgeoning townhouses. From there we splashed our way to Herontown woods - where the entire pack minus TFM plowed their way toward the Wacko trap (the parking lot) whereupon Ned The Boy suggested we try the second parking lot up the road - and we mean UP, up a half-a-mile asphalt straight to the end - watching TFM and Stuhlfat sprint all one could think is too bad 242 wasn't here to enjoy this moment of competitiveness - he might have increased his cognomen by a hundred-and-one. As night fell, beers were quaffed, kitty chips were avoided, and names for Arnone were bandied about - "Dainbramaged" "The Gerbils Go Round & Round" and "Total Fucking Mormon" were the most popular, but none were deemed winners just yet. Come in 2 weeks for the final naming of the most stubborn nameless one ever in Princeton Hash history, next to Hiser, the Nameless. Cast your vote. Upon returning to Princeton a note was left on the Wacko mobile - "where did the trail go after the large estate on River Road?" Alas, once again Pushnermaybe fell hostage to our 6PM start time and the lack of an early post to the hashnet of the start location. Wacko's fault for editing his film instead of spending his days monitoring email transmissions. Better luck next time, maybe.
