As the shirt says:  Princeton University - Class of 1951 - 45th Reunion
                    June 1996 - Inaugural Run

So now there are two hashes in Princeton.  Gunga Dick was nice enough to
guest hare - inviting the PHHH faithful to the Class of '51 inaugural
run - a pre-P-rade dash around the campus amidst the masses of returnees
who barely blinked as this hodge-podge collection of generations oozed
past.  Gunga's style differed slightly from standard PHHH fare in that
the decade of checks (announced at the start) required far more sleuthing
than this impatient bunch of SCB wannabees could stand.
Led by the indefatigably competitive Dr. No, the entire
pack charged onward past the second check with little more than
a cursory glance side-to-side before trampling down to Palmer Stadium
because "it had to go there" cutting off a sizable loop up into campus
and over behind Frick.  However, the check by DeNunzio pool stymied one
and all - keeping this ageless pack of hounds crowded together.  In fact,
if it weren't an A to A, no doubt we would have all been pretty tightly
grouped, but as the hour mark loomed ahead, most of the dispersed hounds
answered the siren call of the Class of '51 Reunion headquarters
(1942 Hall courtyard) where beer was known to be waiting.  All arrived
in timely fashion (except, of course, Big Steve, who loped in his usual
half hour later) - the elderly rookies making a fine showing of
themselves and actually appeared to enjoy the escapade.  The
requisite down-downs were administered for hare, visitors and rookies
affording some splendid entertainment and guaranteeing that Dr. No
would be rocky before the Old Guard were atop their golf carts.  
Gunga Dick ended the proceedings with an invite for the 2nd Class of '51
run - "Seeya in the year 2001!"

Greatest Hash Crime: Rambo, for showing up at the start long enough to
                     grab a T-shirt and then vanishing off to the
                     reunions soccer game instead of running - we'll
                     have an extra down-down waiting at next year's hard
                     core.

Second Greatest Crime:  Dr. No Name for declaring "I won" in front of
                        all these new boots - the concept of winning
                        is hash crime enough, but on an announced A to A?
