Rookies: Katie Sisquig and Aspen. Visitor:Topsail Gospel (Onslow, NC HHH) Second Wave: Wrong Way, The Geezer Descriptions, comments, polemics, and lies: The first wave: The Bodysnatcher set a Rumson style run (similar to a Hash Style Run-similar venue, although different refreshments) which to the delight of the FRB's did not include any false trails. As a result the pack of mostly undergrads follwed the occasional screams of the FRB's from a distance of a quarter mile and the run was a long, mildly sweaty tour of the local environs. Homage was paid to the Ditch Where The Dinosuars Died which almost devoured a poor rookie. She escaped, and was thankful to walk away, paying only the small price of her left shoe which had been sucked into the depths. Only a moron would have tried to rescue that shoe, and only a moron did. In the mean time, Roessler had finally secured himself a name. 242 was searching for the trail along the creek by the Golf Course. After noticing a canoist but no marks, he left to search elsewhere. But from the direction of the canoe he soon heard the sounds of someone thrashing around in the water. He dashed back, expecting to find the canoist flailing for dear life in the creek. Instead all he saw was Roessler trudging waist deep through the muck apparently searching for marks in the middle of Stony Brook (although probably not too bad of an idea considering the consistency and flow of this body of water) while the frightened canoist looked on. Given Roessler's past endeavors the name of "Mush Diver" was given at the Apres-even though everyone knew the Geezer wouldn't approve since he hadn't thought of it. After emerging from the Ditch Where the Dinosaurs Died and winding through Carnegie Center, the pack was disappointed that they would not be the first ones across the new Alexander Road overpass. The hare had opted for the Dinky bridge instead of the bare steel girders. So after a boringly safe crossing of Route 1, the pack made its way back to the apres at the Rusty Scupper. The second wave never finished as The Geezer went and hurt himself again. Next Hashes, probably: #549.4 Sunday, March 31st, 2 pm, The Village Idiot sets in S. Joisey Rojo has emailed directions.
