PRINCETON HHH HASH #543.4 Date: February 18, 1996 Weather: Cold Venue: Orchard Road to Orchard Road Loop of Pain and Suffering Time: 1:40 Set By: The Delay LLLama Hashers: Rojo, Geezer, LRF, Eyesore, TFM, Solo Descriptions, comments, polemics, and lies: We all know he has this thing about straight lines. Why should we expect anything different from what we got? "Well," said the LLLama at the start at Burnt Hill School, "There's a bit of road running, but you'll see why I had to do it." So we did, as we trudged along endless asphalt stretch after endless asphalt stretch - to get us off the roads the LLLama would have had to let us run through the woods and fields on either side of the highway. Perish forfend. There were a few nice moments: Rojo and Solo crossing an icy stream to avoid two barking dogs all decked out in their Hammacher-Schlemmer artic doggie coats, oh-so- carefully buckled across their sleek bellies, first-in-show medals still gleaming in the dimming light. The Geezer and the LRF just cruised through; a single curl of the Geezer's lip and those suburban gold coast poochies scrambled for shelter, tails between legs, whimpering pitifully. Second, it was nice to see that the Flower of American Youth finished late on this one, to the delight of the assembled mid-life types (not to mention the geriatrics among us). The LLLama had Tibetan Barley Beer (Chang- actually made with rice this time) ready for us at the end in celebration of Losar and the Fire Mouse year. We seem to have survived it, although the long-term health effects are still to be determined. #544.4 Sunday, February 25th, 1pm, 242 sets the 4th Annual Hard Corpse Hash "No Tee Shirts, No Money, No Whining, No Mercy"
