Eyesore's Doubleheader


Descriptions, comments, polemics, and lies: Eyesore had a little help from
the mysterious Levy, but basically he put this pair of freezers together.
The first of them reduced most bodies to painful solidity in short order,
and thus was a perfect example of the oft-dreaded chilling effect. But the
second, run through Great Bear Swamp on a day when the ice was but a thin
crust separating our tender footsies from water at exactly 0 Co, was really
 the pits. Not nice at all, and one could easily track the pack from the
anguished cries and pitiful whimpering coming from the woods, as feet
slowly lost touch with the world around them. Over the years we have NEVER
had a good time in Great Bear Swamp (still so sadly bereft of its Great
Bears).

Eyesore's first effort was rescued from terminal mediocrity by a nice
ending in a sculpture park, and the second was enlivened by the return of
My Lips Are Seals, who brought along his little fragile broken arm.
Apparently, he finally figured out that he doesn't run on his hands.
