Descriptions, comments, polemics, and lies: Wacko loves this place. This
probably stems from his first encounter with the denizens of Assunpink who
were described at the time as "interesting tatooed natives who seemed to be
victims of tooth pulling rituals." [PH3 #98, June 15, 1986, set by Stu
Sharp, and attended by such vanished hash icons as Mertz the Silent, Gibson
the Pederast, Toxic Waste, Poison Evy, and Effross]. Wacko took to these
gentle, kindly folk immediately, and has retained a close affinity ever
since. Ah, nostalgia.  This time we set off on an long uphill trail strewn
with more than ample horseshit, then crossed some swampy shiggy and thorns
to a road. Back into the woods, still uphill, at which point Wacko's set
degenerated into a farrago of reversed arrows, obliterated marks, and
overrun Fs. The Big Blue Van was spotted across the lake, and marks found
in another swamp, leading out to an EFM of wheat. A nice variation on the
usual endgame sequence of "twisty passages, all of which look alike."

This was the Madam's 50th hash. In the midst of congratulating her, let us
spare a thought for those many poor souls whose recruitment provided the
Madam with her name. Think for a moment of those legions whose lives have
been blighted by their introduction - dare I say seduction? - to the PH3.

        Comrade 242 has volunteered to set this year's version of the most

Lord Rambo of Virginia to a whimpering mass of quivering flesh after just
30 minutes, that inspired the best writeup in hash history (#441.4, Le
Morte de Rambeau), and which led to the famous State Department Travel
Advisory- "Stay out of New Jersey in February."
