SODOM  &  GOMMORAH

And the Reptile Fancier looked down upon the Princeton Hash and felt pity in
his heart and so he rose up atop a Rocky Hill and beseeched the Lord -- "Lord,
the Princeton Hash House Harriers are your creation - do you so lightly destroy
them?"

And the Lord did not answer.  So the LRF pleaded, "What if I can find but ten,
stalwart hashers willing to run on the Sunday following the day of Thanksgiving
-- if there are but ten hashers of stout heart, will you then forswear your
destruction?"

And the Lord said, "Fine.  Lotsa luck."

And the LRF was full of dread for he knew that the Princeton HHH had become so
lame he would never be able to find ten true souls.  And so he pleaded further,
"What if I find eight, no, seven... what if I can find seven willing to subject
themselves to self-flagellation in your honor, seven depraved souls who will
endure the torturous path to righteousness and redemption through salsa?"

And the Lord spoke.  "Ever since I gave the Rangers the Cup everyone thinks I'm
a pussy."

And the Fancier of Reptiles pressed further, for he knew even seven was pushing
it.  "Lord.  Hey Lord.  My sweet Lord...  (and after a brief digression into a
George Harrison melody...) What about three?  Three souls.  Three sods.  What if
I can find but three?"

And the Lord said, "Will you set?"

And the LRF said, "What?"


But the LRF did set, leading a Handful of Hashers out of the Princeton borough
to the promised land of Herron Town, (after parting with the idea of taking us
through the Red Sea of the Monmouth Junction swamp).  And so the Princeton HHH
forestalled its demise, escaping the wrath of the Lord, who laid waste to the
Computer Center Parking Lot.
