Today was the day that the Delay LLLama was to redeem himself for his past transgression, his first 
attempt to set. Some of you may recall the fiasco that occurred in Washington Crossing Park.  It began 
with less than 5 pounds of flour being used to set a trail that was 5 miles long.  Next, was the one mile 
long false trail.  After that the LLLama lead us to another portion of the trail and had to instruct us quite 
frequently as to the direction we should take.  The LLLama was a very "clever" that day.

Anyhow, that is all in the past.  Today, he said he used 15 pounds of flour and we should just enjoy the 
run.  The run begins just fine, but ends all too soon.  On his first set he had a 1 mile false trail, but not 
this time'.  The very "clever" hare has 2 false trails which were each over a half mile long.  AU the 
Delay LLLama would say was "ENJOY"... which we did not.  After the long false trails things seemed 
to improve with some lovely woods running.  For the most part the hounds seemed to be refreshed with 
the lovely territory, bounding through the woods like the creatures they had encountered, except for 
Throatwarbler who sounded as if he had double pneumonia, and RoJo who a had little too much wine 
the night before.  At some point it was decided that the trail was going to go on forever, so the LLLama 
sent us down Great Road to pick up the trail.  After running down Great Road for about a half a mile or 
so the pack headed into the park.  The tired band of hounds followed some trails through the woods 
which lead them to a cooler in a clearing of pines.  RoJo and Throatwarbler felt somewhat uneasy as 
someone pointed out the vultures that were circling above.  Their fears were eased a bit when upon 
returning to their vehicles.  Safe Sweats was spotted.  Perhaps the vultures were there for him.  Safe 
Sweats perched on a bicycle has recently had knee surgery.  He is not allowed to walk without crutches, 
but he is riding a bike.
