PRINCETON HHH Hash #474.4 DATE: Sunday, September 25, 1994 SET BY: Throatwarbler HASHERS: John "Mud" Young, LFBB, RoJo, Geezer, LRF, TFM, Projectile Vomit, Paul "Go To Hell", Eyesore, Wacko, Delay Lllama, Ned Dybvig WEATHER:Hazy VENUE: Ball park where the hash ghost first appeared (North of 546 on Scotch Rd.) - Due west to the far end of Washington Crossing Park Gorky Park It was nice to welcome back some old faces along with TFM as the fall term began. Throatwarbler hauled our keesters back out to that infamous ball park north of 546 on Scotch Rd. where Hand Solo first introduced us to the Hash ghost and from which he took us on another hash excursion from which the now legendary Geezervan ride home in the dark with no lights occurred. There was some discussion as to whether or not this van trip hash was Safe Sweats first and how it might be apropos as he is somewhere under the knife as we speak, having his knee repaired so that he can rejoin us. However, though the terrain was familiar to the LRF (as always) the others, veterans included, recognized little of the surroundings until we eventually emerged out on Bear Tavern Rd. and entered into Washington Crossing Park whereupon we were summarily greeted by the Warbler's forewarned "Double F with two X's through it followed by a double cross". What his intentions were at this point was not clear, but subsequently it was most evident that he intended to beeline across the park to a waiting car on the other side. Only the veterans who knew of the ample possibilities for deviation into vast tracts of the park were slowed - an interesting double bluff. The trail itself was entertaining, affording ample confusion for several of the hounds to take piss breaks along the way. Perhaps this is what caused TFM to fall so far behind as we adlibbed a regroup at about the halfway point. LFBB never showed, we figured he was shortcutting and would appear again (and did) - Eyesore never showed, we figured he was lost but as usual would come bounding back to the pack from some arcane direction (which he did) and TFM also never showed which we figured meant he was totally lost but since he knew Pennington would survive, not only that but he found his way to the end a scant 32 minutes behind the rest of the pack.
