WHERE OH WHERE HAVE ALL THE VETERANS GONE?

When the nearest approximation to a veteran is the barbershop quartet of
RoJo, Big Nut, Delay Lllama and Solo, you know this will be a long
afternoon.  The Students were too busy plotting their escape from Princeton
to concentrate on the hash, not that any concentration on their part would
have helped.  The trail started amiably enough, the first obstacle being
McGraw-Hill.  The pack quickly found the trail at a sharp right, unlike Solo
who simply followed Magnetic North on his trusty compass.

The three remaining "veterans" led the hapless followers through the worst
section of the hash.  The ugliness of the terrain encountered could not be
imagined, especially by your humble scribe who never got to see any of it.

With the Llama wondering if he was back in Baltimore and RoJo comatose from
her latest booster shot against Peruvian Mountain Fever the burden of
leadership fell to Big Nut.  Needless to say Mass Confusion was the result
as the Hounds dispersed to something approximating the average population
density of Alaska.

The prospect of working for the Geezer all Summer was having its effect on
Judd.  Cursing wildly he ignored the trail and pounded pavement in no
particular direction, dragging RoJo and the returned Solo straight to the
cooler.

The remaining pack finally found the true trail and forced their way
through the undergrowth, avoided the winter-crazed golfers at the driving
range and finished right at the two hour mark.

LRF, GEEZER, THROATWARBLER: P-L-E-A-S-E come back, all is forgiven!

RUMOR MILL:
Two rumors have been heard whispered behind the kiosk in Palmer Square:

1. The hash will be switching to Wednesdays at some as yet unannounced date.
2. Dr. No will be in the area on June 15 and plans to hash. This goes
   on the assumption that rumor #1 is true.
