NO PAIN

Description, comments, polemics, and lies: Notorious No notwithstanding, none of 
the usual assembly of non-normal no-brainers plus novitiate nomads noticed the gleam 
in the swinish pederast’s gaze. “No problem! No sweat!” cried he, “An hour, no more, I 
really took it easy on you.”  No-man’s land awaited at the Belle Meade Inn, the end of 
#313.4, and home of Portugee Pete, heir to the Belle Meade Welding fortune and 
charter member of the big belly Hall of Fame. Alas, Pete wasn’t home, the Inn was 
closed, and, with nothing better to do, we set off on No’s nominal “hour, no more” with 
notable nonchalance, whistling tunes from “No, No, Nanette”. An hour and 47 minutes 
later we arrived at the Lionel Railroad’s overpass #37 to find good news and bad news.  
The good news was that the “hour” was over, and the bad news was that No’s idea of 
food would drive a rat to a hunger strike.  

No Nobel for the noble No! No way!
