PHHH #1175.9 Sun Nov 18, 2007 Location: Hilltop Ln, Somerset, NJ 08873 The brave who showed up(AND PAID): Hareinmyzipper (HIMZ), Heyyopaully (HYP), unpaid attendees: rain and maybe sleet and HYP's umbrella Hare: Solo Weather: see attendee list, add cold to that and you have it. Time: 2 HOURS!! Started one hour early due to the fact that sunlight would have run on us. I didn't know we could muck the stuff that holds our universe together like hash start times, but Solo has do so. Now the fabric of time will collapse and don't surprised to see Hitler and Jesus running around. After some interesting terrain through fields and woods, we ended up on some railroad tracks to hell. With a helpful hint from a Solo cruising around on a bike to ensure our safety, we ran a half a mile or so the wrong way on the tracks. (I do have to give credit for the earlier helpful hint that was indeed helpful). So after running to N. Brunswick on the tracks we finally criss-crossed an industrial area with lots of random piles of trash. We took the Chicken trail and choose to not even bother looking for the Eagle. Finally after 2 hours of pretty solid jogging we discover it was a good idea neither of us attempted a marathon that morning. Outside a bar we see a Solo in his newly returned windbreaker (speaking of Windbreaker, no DP and WB?) 3 soaking wet rats saddle up to the bar and entertain the "I've wasted my youth working here" bartender. We try to do the math on how she has one child about to leave college, on in high school and one in pre-school. HYP thinks maybe they are triplets who have vastly different IQs? Maybe she got started at 16? I think we should have held out on giving the extra big pencil and traded it for the opp to be Daddy number 4. I just realized that on-in was probably the cheapest in hash history. And that would include HYP ordering all the expensive stuff!
