PHHH #1163.9 Date: Sunday, August 26, 2007 Place: Trenton RR Station Weather: Panhandle hot Time: An hour+ for the shortcutting bastards, 90 minutes for the few and the brave Hare: Crofty (NYC HHH) Hounds: Itemized Seduction, Dancing Fool, Pyroman, Speedbumps, Ouipee, and 11 members of the NYC HHH, many of who had hashnames quickly forgotten This is only a PHHH hash in location and hounds only, because the style left heads, legs, lights, and all of the oldest hash in Princeton spinning. There were intimations of real running--after all, you're white in Trenton without a police escort or shiggy: what else are you going to do? But Pyro observed early on, as we looped through Jackson Street and environs to the Trenton Thunder park, that these guys didn't stop. It helped the NYC-style checkmarks seem to feature only one, true, trail: no dead ends, no falses to keep the pack together. Thus the men of NYC left their women to the wolves and panhandlers, one of who tried to collect hash cash from Weepii with Pyro's encouragement, and then left Weeppy and Dancing Fool dragging their asses on the Morrisville dike after crossing the Trenton Makes bridge. Pyro, acting on the hare's announcement that the hash would end close to the RR station, said, "Haw, ain't never going to Morrisville" and put an arrow to the capitol and skipped the two- state option. Three or four NY'ers, pleased with the opportunity to visit three states in an afternoon, joined the two PHHH hounds on the dike, where the sun began to do a Bolivian llamerada on Wipi's doxycyclin-laced body. At Crofty's arrow pointing across the Delaware, he went for it, bringing DF and his bag o' cans with him, while the NY'ers soldiered on to the next bridge. It was a fine wade, with nary a need for a dogpaddle, tho' the island in the stream wasn't apparently the same as that on Hwuypuy's legendary set (www.princetonol.com/groups/phhh/archive/894.4.txt). Dancing Fool hung on to his bag and then trotted with Weepea through downtown Trenton, aiming for Market Street when they spotted Pyro and the on- in at Crofty's cozy abode on Jackson. There were fine beers and cheezy poofs for Bumps, and cantalope slices wrapped in prosciutto for the yellowjackets, and pizza was en route, all for the discount price of five dollars, one third of the standard NYC price. For fifteen bucks head, hell, I'd set every week! Wednesday, PHHH 1164.9: Keyless Entry sets the last Wednesday hash of the summer: keep it short and sweet, and don't even think of finishing at Epipenis's new home!
